Basic Procedures to Capture an Image

The instruments are different but they all require that the patient place their head in a headrest.  The headrest or the instrument is adjusted so that the patient’s head is within the appropriate range for alignment.  

It is often necessary to turn 
the patient’s head slightly to 
eliminate shadows from the 
nose so the whole ring pattern 
is reflected from the cornea.
